It is this reason that I now also like to be active as a Startup Mentor. Helping these startups with advice, based on my experience. Getting them in touch with people who are an expert on the problem they are facing.
It is also the reason I activated the Career Advice option on Linked In, where by some magic algorithm I get matched to people who are looking for career advice. Mostly I get matched to students, approaching the end of their studies and looking at their next step. Picking a first job and deciding on your first step can be daunting, but I’m glad I can offer these people some advice to get them going.
