With 15 years of experience in the Energy Industry and Innovation, I have found that success hinges on three components:

Execution. Implementation of Innovation means dealing with a lot of unknowns and uncertainties. Doing this in a legacy environment is challenging, but the same holds for startups on a limited runway.
Building Ecosystems. Today's challenges are best tackled together with partners. Finding them and your common ground is a challenge, keeping everybody on board and aligned even more so.
