Sharing Mentoring Power

The joy of being able to help a startup company make its first steps. Then Scale. Or to help someone with a burning question to make the next step.

The joy of being able to help a startup company make its first steps. Then Scale. Or to help someone with a burning question to make the next step. I enjoyed it in 2019.

I look forward to stepping up this game in 2020 even more.

At Rockstart - FlexiDAO

Last year at Rockstart, I have had the pleasure to be assigned as a mentor to FlexiDAO. FlexiDAO is active in the Energy industry with their Blockchain solution, targeting Certificates of Origin. I’ve had great fun helping them with the knowledge I have, connecting them with my network and advising them on specific decisions they faced.

At Utrecht Inc - Kokeroo

At Utrecht Inc, I got to meet Kokeroo last year. They are a startup wanting to apply AI technology to last-mile deliveries. Delivering packages in bulk over vast distances can be done quite efficiently, but doing the last few miles is still complicated as ever. By developing a smart routing system and combining many options, they have a shot at providing value in this highly competitive market.

At Linked In - Career Advice

At Linked In, I discovered a ‘Career Advice tool’. I’ve had no idea how long that has been around (announced in 2017), but from time to time I get matched with people who are asking career-related questions. Most of the time, I have a feeling I can help them out, so we chat and exchange some messages. Sometimes the question was raised so long ago and is no longer relevant; I’m not sure why I am still matched on Linked In though. It never hurts to help.

Mentoring 2020

For 2020 I look forward to more of these interactions. I have found that my analytical skills, technical knowledge and ability to see a potential future play out are helping others. If you are looking for help, let me know.
